We hope that you're doing well and that you'll drop us a line and let us know how you're doing. [ Clay, Laura, CJ,Preston & Aparri ]

Hiking Multnomah Falls
In all these years, we have never taken the kids to Multnomah Falls...so we decided to stop and do it on this trip. The whole gang was here for the fun! Nana & Papa, Bryce, Amy & Grayson, Julie and Isaac, and our crew. It was a little rainy and a little slow going on the way up...but we made it! ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP!!! Yipee. It was quite the adventure.
Visit to the Cave
The Cave is one of our favorite destinations for a 4 wheeler ride. So, we got 4 adults (Laura's sister, Kathy, and her husband Brett, were the two other lucky adults that accompanied us on our adventure to the cave), 4 four wheelers, a bunch of kids and headed out to the cave. We found an owl, snake, and lots of other treasures!
Ward Pool Party
Since it was WAY too cold to go swimming outside, we took a day and went swimming to Slygers. We all had fun jumping off diving boards, going down slides, and trying to stay balanced on the log. It was fun to swim around the pool with Grandpa, Uncles, and cousins.
It took a little while to get CJ on the slide, but after one try, we couldn't keep him off it!
Clay showing off his moves off the diving board.
Laura trying to "one up" Clayboy off the diving board
Clay proving to Laura that he was "THE MAN" off the diving board....and yes, Laura had to agree!!
Preston is our little fish in the water. He puts his face in, swims around, in one word...he is FEARLESS.
Aparri trying to relax with Daddy in the water...

Annual Rides on the Farm
When we started on our vacation, we left 80-90 degree weather and headed into freezing cold temperatures...needless to say, our bodies were in a state of shock! But, with a little bundling up, or a lot of bundling up rather, we were still able to keep warm and do all things that we wanted to do around the farm; such as ride the swather, 4 wheelers, and of course the tree swing that the kids love!

Easter Shoot OUT
Easter Fun & Hunts
The kids had a great time hunting eggs! By the time Easter was over they were experts!! They had a Dietrich city hunt on Saturday, an Easter Morning Hunt - from the Easter Bunny, and then an Easter Afternoon Hunt from Grandma and Papa. Thank goodness there were three...it took Aparri a few tries to get the hunting thing down...she slept straight through the City Hunt, was a little confused with the morning hunt, but was ready to run and find those eggs by the afternoon!!! It was fun being with all the cousins on Easter!
We had fun making homemade "Snakes" that later became our Easter Dinner Rolls!!! Everyone helped and they turned out yummmy!!!
The Move
Clay drove the U-haul with the truck being towed behind and Laura drove the minivan with the rotating kids. The boys took turns driving in the truck with Dad! It was amazing, they chose a smelly, stinky, old, no DVD player, no A/C truck over the nice and oh so comfortable minivan....WOW. The power of a truck!
