Such a Great Mom

This morning Laura was treated with flowers and breakfast-in-bed(probably not such a treat since Clay made the breakfast) in appreciation of her being such a wonderful mom. CJ and I love her very much and we hope she knows how much we admire and appreciate her in all that she does. And if you're reading this, and you have a mom, let her know how much you love and appreciate her(and not just on mothers day).

Gibber The Gecko!

Say hello to Gibber. Now Gibber is no ordinary Gecko (Yes, the above pictures are of one Gecko, Gibber changes colors) that lives at the Ward residence. Gibber is a Gecko that......get this......Laura HELD! Not just touched, or stepped on, or happened upon accidentally, she held him, and he let her. He's a good Gecko.

"My Own, Secret Garden"

One of Laura's many projects has been growing a vegetable garden in the backyard area of the house. Since there's not a lot of ground to work with, Laura has been using various pots and has been having great success with them. But she also has a small plot next to the shed where she has been planting.
Last night for dinner we had some wonderful string beans that were freshly picked. There are also tomatoes and squash that are coming along well. Clay and CJ are very proud of Laura for taking such good care of her garden, along with the 50 million other things that she is constantly doing.

My Compliments to the "Chef Junior" (CJ)

After a grueling time of preparing chicken tetrazini (Copyright Aunt Erin Bailey 2006) and dinner rolls, the hard workin' chef gets to take a short break and watch his masterpieces bake & crisp in the oven!
