4th of July Firework Show

Aparri was a festive little girl from the top of her head to the toes of her boots!!!  And boy did she know it!    We got to enjoy Clay with us for the weekend, but that also meant he had to head back on Monday - the actual 4th, but we lit off lots of fireworks both nights, so it felt like two 4ths and no 3rd of July!!!   We played outdoor games, had a BBQ, went and visited some friends new kittens (brand new, eyes weren't even open yet!!), fireworks, and just spent time together.....great holiday!!

We all had a front row view of the show...but part way through, we realized that a front row seat isn't always the best when you have fireworks like "utter chaos"....ummm yeah, especially with kids.  Luckily no one was majorly hurt, just a little nick and really scared when a firework headed straight for the unsuspecting spectators.  Whew, talk about an adrenaline rush!!!
