While on the farm, we were lucky enough to be there for the grand season openning of the flood gates a.k.a ditch water was released! That meant that the kids had an automatic swimming pool..well, a swimming ditch, which to a kid is just as good as a pool, to get wet in, splash around in, and get as muddy as I'll get out, in! For the boys, I think the mud is almost as enjoyable as the water...well, almost! CJ and Preston enjoyed "painting" Grandma and Papa's wood with mud, making mud pies, and building a Doc Hudson (from CARS) out of mud. Who knew all the things you could do with mud? Boys do! Poor Aparri was feeling under the weather, but still had to come out and put her little toes in the water and enjoy the festivities of the ditch!
