Becky Time

Since Clay was unable to come on the trip to Utah, Becky agreed to help Laura drive home and spend a few days in Vegas! We had fun chatting, doing girl stuff, and of course, introducing Becky to the pool!

Cousin Play time

After the baptism, we all got together and had a fun afternoon full of good food, cotton candy (Grandma Smith, raved about the cotton candy and reminisced about her younger years), water hoses, and big slides!  As you can see, even the adults got in on some of the water fun!  Good times!  If you are ever wondering how long a huge bounce house full of water and bubbles can entertain a bunch of kids... the answer is endless...the kids were on that thing non-stop until the people came and picked it up.  We were all amazed how hard they played and for how long!   Preston got his hands on a Darth Vador hat, and since, the Ward kids are definitely into Star Wars right now, he couldn't resist wearing it and then "forcing" papa to wear it too!!!

Baptism and Blessing Weekend

Corey and Nicole's (Laura's older sister) son, Easton, was getting baptized and their youngest daughter, Remy, was getting blessed, so Laura and the kids took a trip up to Utah to be there to support the occasion.  The kids enjoyed watching their cousin be baptized, playing with the cousins, and meeting baby Remy.

Nana and the Pool

While in Vegas, we introduced Nana to the Pool...a nice break from the 100+ heat.  It is so nice to go into the cool water and get out and not be cold at all....The Pool...our favorite place for the next few months!

Scheel Family Visit

Dana & Travis Scheel and their kids are our good friends that we met while stationed at Fairchild AFB, in Spokane WA.  They have since moved and we have since moved, but the world is still a small place!  Since we happen to fall between Colorado, their new home, and Disneyland - their memorial day destination, we got to see them again!!!  It was so nice seeing them, catch up on each other's lives, and letting the kids play.  We had a nice memorial day BBQ, took a few pictures, and then sent them on their way to the happiest place on earth!  Oh, it is so nice to see old friends!

Nana's Here!!!

Everyone loves it when Nana comes to town!!!  She plays, makes silly faces, brings chocolate, what's not to love?  We had a great time playing and just being with Nana.  We miss both her and Papa since they live so far away - we are always excited when they come to visit!

Preston's Preschool

Here is a picture of Preston's Preschool Class. His fabulous teacher was Ms. Booker. As a thank you gift, Preston painted his teacher a flower pot, signed his name, and picked out the flowers that went inside! Preston has officially graduated from Preschool, and will be on to Kindergarten this fall!
